The County of Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors adopted the 2023 Housing Element on November 14, 2023 (see documents below) and has been forwarded to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for certification. HCD has requested certain modifications, noted in underline/strikethrough text. If you have comments on these changes to the element, please email:2023housingelement@santacruzcountyca.gov by 5 pm on February 21, 2024.
