GRANT FUNDED PROGRAMS
Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA)
The California Department of Housing and Community Development (State HCD) recently announced that the County is eligible for approximately $3.3 million in PLHA funds over the next five years. The purpose of the PLHA Program is to help local governments to address their affordable housing needs. To access these funds, the County must submit a five year plan showing how it intends to use its PLHA funds over the next five years for eligible housing activities within the unincorporated areas of Santa Cruz County (County).

Public Notice - PLHA 5-Year Plan Amendment (11/28/22) Includes instructions on making a Public Comment regarding the proposed Amended PLHA 5-Year Plan, which is scheduled to be heard by the Board of Supervisors, at a Public Hearing on 12/13/2022.
