Historic Resources Commission

The Historic Resources Commission (HRC) is made up of five members, one appointed by each County Supervisor. The HRC holds regular meetings quarterly, with additional special meetings as needed. The HRC reviews proposals to amend the Historic Resources Inventory, applications for changes to the exterior of properties included on the Historic Resources Inventory, and fulfills other duties pertaining to Historic Preservation as provided in Chapter 2.58 of the Santa Cruz County Code and the County General Plan. Recordings of prior meetings can be accessed by clicking the meeting date below. Public hearings are currently being held remotely due to the Public Health Emergency.
